The machine-factory production is presented through the stages of development of our textile industry according to the raw materials used, equipment, machines and various forms of organization of production activities. The historical development of spinning and weaving equipment is shown, as well as the Bulgarian contribution to textile technologies. Some of the machines are the only operating examples of technical culture in Bulgaria.
Demonstrations are being made of: a periodically acting spinning machine, called self-actor, manufactured in Germany in 1937; a mechanical weaving loom "Maria Louise", constructed in England in 1893; a Bulgarian ribbon weaving loom from 1953; a Bulgarian automatic weaving loom "Yantra", from 1969; a pneumatic rapier weaving machine, manufactured in Russia in 1961.
