Decorative weaving

The workshop includes an introduction to the historical development of weaving, the technological features of the process, the tools and equipment used, and the methods of ornamentation.

Demonstrations of Kotel and Chiprovtsi carpet techniques are held.

Each participant works independently on their own device/ tool and weaves their own decorative panel.

 All appliances, tools and materials are provided by the museum. The worked work remains for its author.

The workshop is held in the museum. If necessary, it can be held outside in an adapted version.

It is suitable for children and adults, and the techniques used are selected according to the participants and the complexity of the model is determined.

Duration – 3 hours.
