The workshop recreates an ancient technique for creating textiles by felting wool fibers. Participants learn about the structure of the elementary wool fiber and the two methods for obtaining non-woven textiles – wet and dry method.
Each participant works independently and creates a unique felt painting from multi-colored wool fibers.
All tools and materials are provided by the museum. The wool painting remains for its author.
The workshop is held in the museum. If necessary, it can be moved outside in an adapted version.
It is suitable for children and adults, as well as for people with disabilities.
In group work – part of childrens holiday programs or team building programs, a common work is created.
Duration – 3 hours.
