Textile printing

The workshop participants learn about the history of textile printing, its use in Bulgarian applied practice, the techniques used and their application in traditional textiles. Natural dyes are examined and basic guidelines for working with them are given.

Each participant works independently and stamps various figures on a T-shirt or on a bag using wooden stamps.

All tools and materials are provided by the museum. The decorated T-shirt or bag remains for its author.

The workshop is held in the museum. If necessary, it can be held outside in an adapted version.

It is suitable for children and adults, with each participant determining the model and choosing the motifs.

Duration – 3 hours.
