Dobri Zhelyazkov The Factory Man

The educational program "Dobri Zhelyazkov the Fabricator" introduces the biography of the founder of the Bulgarian industry and his role in the modernization of textile production in the Bulgarian lands. The beginning of the process of Bulgarian industrialization through the two textile factories in Sliven is traced in detail and their importance for the economic development of Bulgaria is highlighted.

The educational program is held in the museum. For illustration, objects from the museums collection that are not exhibited in the permanent exhibition are also included.

It is suitable for students of all levels of education and for students. For children of the initial course of education, it is illustrated with a painted fairy tale "The Fabric Master", created under the "CLIO" project.
